A while ago, one of my Churchwardens observed that I love to worship the Lord through singing. I am fortunate to have a fairly wide knowledge of both older hymns, especially but not exclusively from the Anglican tradition, and of modern worship songs. In this blog I will share some of the hymns and songs which I love, using links to Youtube videos, and where possible giving some information about the author, and how he/she came to write this particular song or hymn. My hope and prayer is that you will find inspiration and encouragement in your own spiritual journey as you read my jottings and listen to some of the hymns and songs which I find enable me to praise and worship my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
